Here at Whzan we have utilised a cheap Android smartphone (Huawei £42/$60) to form the link between the M3 and Whzan. This permits two way access to all of the SL variables in the PLC.

We have linked via the Crouzet / phone Bluetooth interface although we have a prototype serial interface working from the phone.

This low cost solution gives full 3G access and is ideal for remote monitoring/control of Crouzet installations. Coupled with Whzan it provides a means of creating a full interactive graphical web interface linked via 3G. Data traffic is light and updates can be at any frequency from 10 secs to once a day.
