GN Series Now with a clear plastic cover accepting larger size wire terminals while reducing the overall height of the relay
Crouzet announces the improved GN series of solid state relays. Complying with the IEC IP20 touch safe regulation, the GN series now offer a clear plastic cover accepting larger size wire terminals suitable for up to #6 AWG wire and featuring an unrestricted view of wire installation. The overall height of the relay has also been reduced by 2 mm. Crouzet GN series solid state relays complying with the IEC IP00 regulation feature the same improvements as the IP20 versions, but without the clear IP20 protective cover.

The Crouzet GN series of relays have become a world wide benchmark for performance and reliability since their introduction 10 years ago. In response to customer requests to accept higher load current wire connections, Crouzet has improved the termination of the GN series while retaining all of their present features and benefits. Specifications, Part Numbers, Safety Agency Approvals, RoHS compliance and CE certifications of the improved offer remain identical to the previous offer. In addition, several new features are now available including an improved base plate for better thermal conductivity, easier removal of the IP20 cover with a standard #1 flat blade screw driver and a clear plastic cover for ease of wiring.
