Windows XP com port changer instructions

This is for use with Windows XP operating systems, where the Millenium 2 software does not allow selection of the correct Com port. Please note that this utility only changes the setting in the Millenium II software. It will not check or change any registry values.

1. Download and run the "com.zip" file. You will need to have a zip program, such as WinZip installed on your PC to do this. Extract the files to C:\com

2. Check the address of the selected serial port in control panel/ system/ device manager/ ports. In the example below, the address is com1.

3. Run the extracted ComPortChanger.exe file in C:\com and change port number to the correct one for your system.

4. Click apply to make the changes and then quit to close the program.

5. After running this utility reboot your machine.

6. Millenium 2 software should now communicate correctly with the com port.
